The kit includes two types of screw cap to fit most gas cans: a yellow screw collar cap with coarse thread suitable for cans like Blitz, Briggs & Stratton, Eagle, Igloo, Midwest Can, Scepter, and Stancan; and a black screw collar cap with fine thread suitable for Blitz, Briggs & Stratton, Essence, Gott, and Rubbermaid cans.

The screw cap also acts as the spout cap and is designed with a thread to secure the lid tightly and prevent leakage. The kit includes two types of vent cap to fit various gas cans, with instructions provided for drilling a hole if necessary.
